Discovering the Wonderful ESADE Library

Today, I want to share one of my most exciting discoveries: the impressive ESADE Library. This library, which includes the historic Borja Library of the Jesuits, is a true treasure trove of knowledge.

The Borja Library houses incunables and is connected to libraries worldwide. Imagine a horizontal extension as long as the Torre Agbar, filled with invaluable information.

As a philologist, access to these resources is a privilege. Here’s why I consider ESADE Library so special:

Incunables and Rare Texts: Offering a unique window into the history of literature and knowledge.

Global Connection: Access to resources from libraries around the world, expanding research and learning opportunities.

Immense Extent: The magnitude of the collection reflects the depth of available knowledge.

Additionally, I have learned to perform advanced searches, a crucial skill for navigating and extracting relevant information from vast databases. The library is not just a place for books but an educational space that enriches my passion for language and literature.

ESADE Library and the Borja Library are not just study places; they are true sanctuaries of knowledge.

The team of ESADE coaches

I started with a three-day residential meeting held annually by the team of ESADE coaches with whom I have had the honor of working for years. As every year, it was a gift and an opportunity to rethink ourselves, individually and as a team, and above all, to strengthen our bond as a team.

From then on, I have continued to meet people who started out as my fellow coaches (and continue to be, of course) and who have become my friends.

Coming to Madrid is a trip I always look forward to, because I find it a source of personal renewal. Each conversation opens up a world that leaves its mark on me and leaves me with “homework” to do….

The most beautiful thing is to be aware of how fortunate I am to walk through my life knowing that I am surrounded by a community of wonderful human beings who make me feel happy and be a better person. And because of them, I also owe myself to all the other people who are part of my life and whom I accompany, so that I can mean to them what my community means to me.

Transformative personal development day

I recently had the privilege of participating in a transformative personal development day at Món Sant Benet, organized by ESADE. Alongside an inspiring group of 60 people, including 10 coaches and participants from various master’s programs, we immersed ourselves in the fascinating world of “personal leadership” – the first step towards leading people and organizations.

Throughout the experience, we took advantage of a safe and enriching environment to explore the depths of our being through plenary and individual meetings. We worked on identifying our personal vision, reflecting on who we aspire to be, the direction we’re headed, and the kind of life we desire to lead.

It was truly amazing to witness how each participant wholeheartedly committed to their growth and development.

We were all willing to take the necessary steps to turn our dreams into reality, from setting clear goals to identifying concrete actions. Each individual embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery and personal transformation.

I am deeply grateful to ESADE for inviting me to be part of this transformative day focused on personal development, leadership, personal growth and transformation at Mon Sant Benet. Thank you!
