In today’s business world, the ability to communicate effectively and assertively is a critical necessity for any leader. Recently, I taught the Postgraduate Program in Leadership and People Development at the @UdG University of Girona and want to share some key learnings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This course is designed for:<\/p>\n

– Professionals who lead teams
\n– Individuals looking to develop communication and leadership skills<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Assertiveness was a key topic. In the business environment, assertiveness is essential because:<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

-If you don\u2019t communicate, your ideas go unnoticed
\n-If you communicate poorly, you can create conflicts<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We focused on identifying barriers to assertive communication, developing strategies to express thoughts clearly and respectfully, and practicing intensively in real-life situations. Practice was the heart of the learning experience, with exercises, simulations, and role-playing that helped participants handle conflicts and communicate confidently.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This experience reaffirmed my conviction that assertiveness transforms team dynamics and company success.<\/p>\n
