It is the present.<\/p><p data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"609\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"691\"><strong>The relationship between artificial intelligence, mental health, and leadership.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"611\" data-end=\"691\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"785\">Beyond everything that was shared, there is one idea that clearly summarizes my perspective:<\/p><p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"785\">\u00a0<\/p><h3 data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"883\">Artificial intelligence is not the challenge. And that matters.<\/p><p data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"1070\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1119\">But today, we need to ask a different question:<\/p><p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1185\">Not what AI can do, but what we must protect when we use it.<\/p><p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1185\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1286\">Because if there is something I consistently observe in my work with leaders and teams, it is this:<\/p><p data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1358\">This is not a problem of capability.<br data-start=\"1324\" data-end=\"1327\" \/>This is a problem of wellbeing.<\/p><p data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1358\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1539\">Teams that function, but are exhausted.<br data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1402\" \/>Professionals who perform, but are emotionally disconnected.<br data-start=\"1462\" data-end=\"1465\" \/>Organizations that do not understand why their talent wears out or leaves.<\/p><p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1539\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1608\">And this is not something that can be solved with technology alone.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-004aede elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"004aede\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd3088c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dd3088c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>What is happening: Data and human reality<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc05484 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cc05484\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1792\">The data is clear. Absenteeism has reached historic levels, and mental health has become one of the main causes of work incapacity.<\/p><p data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1897\">But beyond the data, there is something even more important: these are not statistics, they are people.<\/p><p data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1897\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"2040\">Leaders overwhelmed, teams with accumulated emotional fatigue, organizations that do not know how to interpret what is happening to them.<\/p><p data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"2040\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"2118\">And this is where artificial intelligence opens up a meaningful opportunity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fd03482 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fd03482\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>The opportunity: from reaction to prevention<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ba17657 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ba17657\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2240\">AI can become a highly valuable tool for organizational wellbeing.<\/p><p data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2240\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2242\" data-end=\"2304\">It allows us to detect signals that previously went unnoticed:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2408\"><li data-section-id=\"soisky\" data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2330\">patterns of overload<\/li><li data-section-id=\"h0r80r\" data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2352\">hyperconnectivity<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1mtzm9t\" data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2381\">changes in team dynamics<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1wuebhj\" data-start=\"2382\" data-end=\"2408\">early signs of burnout<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2410\" data-end=\"2483\">In short, it allows us to move from a reactive model to a preventive one.<\/p><p data-start=\"2485\" data-end=\"2513\">And this has enormous value.<\/p><p data-start=\"2485\" data-end=\"2513\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"2515\" data-end=\"2666\">Because emotional distress does not appear overnight. It builds gradually. Measuring is not intervening. Detecting is not transforming.<\/p><p data-start=\"2949\" data-end=\"3088\">When an organization measures wellbeing but does not act on its root causes, it creates something very dangerous: the illusion of care.<\/p><p data-start=\"2949\" data-end=\"3088\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3090\" data-end=\"3116\">And people notice. Always.<\/p><p data-start=\"3118\" data-end=\"3305\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3118\" data-end=\"3305\">They can tell whether technology is serving their wellbeing or becoming a tool for control. And that perception directly impacts trust, which is the foundation of any healthy environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f0a8781 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f0a8781\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>AI is not neutral: it amplifies culture<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30ba7a1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"30ba7a1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"3356\" data-end=\"3417\">One of the key points I shared during the conference is this:<\/p><p data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3461\"><strong data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3461\">AI is not neutral. It is an amplifier.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3461\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3463\" data-end=\"3508\">It amplifies the culture that already exists.<\/p><p data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3626\">If an organization has a culture based on trust, care, and healthy leadership, AI can multiply that positive impact.<\/p><p data-start=\"3628\" data-end=\"3731\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3628\" data-end=\"3731\">But if the culture is based on control, pressure, or distrust, technology can intensify those dynamics.<\/p><p data-start=\"3733\" data-end=\"3782\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3733\" data-end=\"3782\">So the question is not whether AI is good or bad.<\/p><p data-start=\"3784\" data-end=\"3874\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"3784\" data-end=\"3874\">The question is: <strong data-start=\"3803\" data-end=\"3874\">Is your organization emotionally and culturally prepared to use it?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e8d44e elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"9e8d44e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-cf3bbfe elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"cf3bbfe\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-66 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-7dd0087f\" data-id=\"7dd0087f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-87e2825 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"87e2825\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Leadership: the piece that cannot be delegated<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ec4f9db elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2ec4f9db\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"3932\" data-end=\"3990\">In this context, leadership becomes the critical variable.<\/p><p data-start=\"3992\" data-end=\"4073\">AI can detect that a team is at risk.<\/p><p data-start=\"3992\" data-end=\"4073\"><br data-start=\"4029\" data-end=\"4032\" \/>But it cannot do what defines leadership:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4075\" data-end=\"4266\"><li data-section-id=\"jdahjb\" data-start=\"4075\" data-end=\"4124\">open difficult conversations with sensitivity<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1gzlvyv\" data-start=\"4125\" data-end=\"4161\">create real psychological safety<\/li><li data-section-id=\"12izqyi\" data-start=\"4162\" data-end=\"4215\">provide emotional support in times of uncertainty<\/li><li data-section-id=\"x2nhdu\" data-start=\"4216\" data-end=\"4266\">make ethical decisions when data is not enough<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"4268\" data-end=\"4299\">AI informs.<br data-start=\"4279\" data-end=\"4282\" \/>Leadership cares.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-63addeb5\" data-id=\"63addeb5\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div cannot be automated.<\/p><p data-start=\"4301\" data-end=\"4341\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"4343\" data-end=\"4405\">In fact, there is an idea that is becoming increasingly clear:<\/p><p data-start=\"4407\" data-end=\"4541\">The more artificial intelligence we introduce into organizations, the more important emotional intelligence in leadership becomes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f3c6f8f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f3c6f8f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>The Ethical Question We Cannot Avoid<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bf07231 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bf07231\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"4589\" data-end=\"4703\">Before incorporating technology into wellbeing processes, organizations must ask themselves an essential question:<\/p><p data-start=\"4705\" data-end=\"4769\">Not what we can measure, but <strong data-start=\"4705\" data-end=\"4769\">what we should measure, and why.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"4705\" data-end=\"4769\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"4771\" data-end=\"4848\">Because not everything that is technically possible is ethically appropriate.<\/p><p data-start=\"4850\" data-end=\"4948\">The difference between a tool that cares and a tool that controls is not defined by the algorithm.<\/p><p data-start=\"4950\" data-end=\"4989\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"4950\" data-end=\"4989\">It is defined by organizational intent.<\/p><p data-start=\"4991\" data-end=\"5041\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"4991\" data-end=\"5041\">And by the type of leadership that accompanies it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2cafaf6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2cafaf6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-section-id=\"1jg8a6k\" data-start=\"5048\" data-end=\"5102\">An uncomfortable but necessary question for leaders<\/h2><p data-start=\"5104\" data-end=\"5218\">\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97856bb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"97856bb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"5104\" data-end=\"5218\">If you are introducing artificial intelligence into your organization, there is one question you should not avoid:<\/p><p data-start=\"5220\" data-end=\"5257\"><strong data-start=\"5220\" data-end=\"5257\">What are you really using it for?<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"5220\" data-end=\"5257\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"5259\" data-end=\"5316\">Not from the official narrative, but from daily practice.<\/p><ul data-start=\"5318\" data-end=\"5464\"><li data-section-id=\"mjht8y\" data-start=\"5318\" data-end=\"5381\">To better understand what is happening, or to control more?<\/li><li data-section-id=\"vbydib\" data-start=\"5382\" data-end=\"5436\">To anticipate discomfort, or to justify decisions?<\/li><li data-section-id=\"fkr697\" data-start=\"5437\" data-end=\"5464\">To care, or to measure?<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"5466\" data-end=\"5521\">Because technology does not define people\u2019s experience.<\/p><p data-start=\"5523\" data-end=\"5550\">The way we use it does.<\/p><p data-start=\"5552\" data-end=\"5603\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"5552\" data-end=\"5603\">And that use, ultimately, is a leadership decision.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6f658dd elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6f658dd\" data-element_type=\"section\" elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"68a37ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>Conclusion: efficiency or humanity<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b5759d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b5759d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"5649\" data-end=\"5757\">I am deeply optimistic about the potential of artificial intelligence to improve wellbeing in organizations.<\/p><p data-start=\"5649\" data-end=\"5757\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"5759\" data-end=\"5858\">It can help us detect earlier, intervene better, and prevent a great deal of unnecessary suffering.<\/p><p data-start=\"5759\" data-end=\"5858\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"5860\" data-end=\"6022\">But that potential only becomes reality when something already exists:<br data-start=\"5930\" data-end=\"5933\" \/>A culture oriented toward care, and leadership that assumes its emotional responsibility.<\/p><p data-start=\"5860\" data-end=\"6022\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"6024\" data-end=\"6097\">AI can be an excellent co-pilot, but <strong>the pilot is still human leadership.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"6024\" data-end=\"6097\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"6099\" data-end=\"6192\">Because, ultimately, this is more than a technological shift, it is an ethical responsibility.<\/p><p data-start=\"6194\" data-end=\"6282\">\u00a0<\/p><h3 data-start=\"6194\" data-end=\"6282\">AI can make organizations more efficient.<br data-start=\"6235\" data-end=\"6238\" \/>But only leadership can make them human.<\/h3><p data-start=\"6194\" data-end=\"6282\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"6284\" data-end=\"6369\">Working with technology is inevitable.
