Foco bien colocado y meta muy clara: continuar mejorando mis «oral skills». Quiero aportar valor a nivel internacional y el inglés es una condición. Pues en eso estoy. Afortunadamente, tengo muchos amigos y colegas en Philadelphia a quienes adoro que me están ayudando a hacerlo posible. Una mención especial a mi colega y amigo Mike Ward. Con él empezó todo…

Mi estancia en USA estos meses por segunda vez es un reto. Necesito, puedo y quiero mejorar, y a eso voy. Por mi parte, estoy haciendo todo lo que está a mi alcance para que sea posible hasta allí donde pueda llegar durante el tiempo que voy a estar. Si eso es lo que espero de mis coachees (100% de compromiso y no espero menos…), quiero ser ejemplo de lo que yo espero de ellos (si algo saben mis coachees es que conmigo, tonterías… las justas… y lo digo con cariño… aunque pareciera lo contrario…). Por coherencia y por ética profesional.

Una jornada inolvidable con el equipo de La Granja, Ability Training Center con quienes colaboramos a través de Fast Forward American English LLC .
Y un privilegio compartido el encuentro con una mujer que brilla con luz propia Cristina Gutiérrez Lestón, con quien siento profundamente que, en todos los sentidos, “hablamos el mismo idioma”.
Esto no se va a quedar aquí. Van a pasar cosas a raíz de este encuentro. No es una amenaza. Y va más allá de una intuición. Es un hecho. ¿Por qué? Porque sí. Porque queremos. Así de sencillo.

Being ASSERTIVE is a crucial aspect of effective communication and requires you to be heard but not agressive.

In my second webinar for “FAST FORWARD AMERICAN ENGLISH” the last Thursday, we explored this balance and how it can be identified and develop through a series of communications techniques.
