Summer lunch with Dr. Jesús M. Prujà

I have always thought that good traditions should be maintained. And one tradition is our summer lunch with Dr. Prujà, whom I met at a doctoral thesis defense. And I also wrote not long ago that what a doctoral thesis unites, people cannot separate….

He was the thesis director and I was a member of the tribunal. I was very amused to see that gentleman in a suit and bow tie… (I love people with their own style and personality…).

I was lucky enough to share a table with him at the end of the defense, when all the members of the tribunal were invited to a meal by the new doctor.

Well, that meeting was the first of many reunions that have been happening over the years. Having the good fortune to debate with someone who has a PhD in Advertising and Public Relations, a degree in Law, a degree in Political Science, a Social Graduate and Head of the Office of Access to the University of the Generalitat de Catalunya, you will agree with me that it becomes a promising gift of the most varied and interesting gatherings … as it has been over the years … always enlivened by a critical and ironic thinking that fascinates me and amuses me a lot.

So, I toast to these meetings that, when they end, are the ones that make me go back “to my work” with a smile on my lips… As simple as that.
