I have shared a great day with high level speakers, special guests and many experiences from business leaders. An enriching and practical day: IESE’s 7th Executive Coaching Symposium, organized by the school’s Executive Coaching Unit, It was held in-person on the Barcelona campus on November 17, 2022 and explored team-based leadership.
We know great teamwork produces great collaboration, great shared learnings and great results levering diverse points of view and capabilities. But can you achieve it in all teams in all circumstances, including when hybrid or remote working lies at the heart of the way we work?
Focusing on team-based leadership, the IESE’s 7th Executive Coaching Symposium explored the link between team effectiveness, leadership and coaching, including:
• The leader’s role as key to creating fully integrated, effective teams
• The use of diversity in all its forms – function, opinions, personality, gender – to enable impactful change in the short, medium and long term
• Coaching as part of the team leader’s essential portfolio of competencies
